The Baha'i International Community chaired five NGO committees and task forces both in New York and in Geneva. These included: the NGO Committees on Human Rights, on UNIFEM, and on Freedom of Religion or Belief, and the Task Force on UN-NGO Relations for CONGO (Committee of Non-Governmental Organizations in Consultative Status with ECOSOC).
