The Baha'i International Community become an active member of the NGO Primary Health Care Group, attended WHO and World Health Assembly annual sessions and participated actively in Assembly Technical Discussions. That same year, the BIC established working relations with the WHO and subsequently continued to strengthen relations with the organization.
