In a statement, Austria’s Vice Chancellor and Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger said, “The news of an intensification of the Iranian government’s repression of the Baha’i community is alarming. The right to education is a fundamental human right for everyone, independent of his or her religion. The restriction of access to education for young Baha’is is unacceptable.”
