Hungarian government expresses “deep concern” for imprisoned Bahai leaders

In response to a demand by a Hungarian Member of Parliament for the immediate release of the seven imprisoned Baha’i leaders in Iran, State Secretary Janos Fonagy stated that the Hungarian government will continue to demand that Iran complies to the call of the European Union to uphold human rights, and that the safety and emancipation of the Baha’is must be ensured.
