As thousands gather in Nairobi for the 2024 United Nations Civil Society Conference on the theme of “Shaping a Future of Global and Sustainable Progress”, the Baha’i International Community is pleased to release a working paper entitled Embracing Interdependence: Foundations for a World in Transition.

The paper will inform an eventual statement to the upcoming Summit of the Future, focusing on the practical requirements for “the international community to begin developing a shared narrative—a common story—and to consult on means to foster humanity’s steady movement from global disequilibrium to global equilibrium.”
