The Baha'i International Community hosted an NGO briefing on the Copenhagen Leadership Meeting that took place last week on the synthesis report of the Global Consultation on Addressing Inequalities (webcast) in the post-2015 development agenda. Speakers underscored that a shift in thinking had taken place among Member State representatives,  evidenced by the commitment to eradicating inequalities and the willingness to explore a wide range of policy options. The following shared highlights from Copenhagen: Maja Mortensen of the Mission of Denmark to the United Nations; Saraswathi Menon, Director of Policy Division of UN Women; Richard Morgan, Senior Advisor for UNICEF's Post-2015 Development Agenda; Rosa Lizarde of the Feminist Task Force of the Global Call to Action Against Poverty; and Bani Dugal of the Beyond 2015 Campaign/Baha'i International Community.
