In sixth breakfast dialogue, UN, Member States and civil society focus on Growth and Employment in context of the Post-2015 Development Agenda

The sixth in an ongoing series of informal breakfast dialogues, organized by the Baha'i International Community and the International Movement ATD Fourth World, focused on Growth and Employment (programme). Opening remarks were given by Mr. Katsuhiko Takahashi, Minister (Economic Affairs) of the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations; and Mr. Matt Simonds, Policy Officer of the Trade Union Development Cooperation Network. Among other things, participants focused on the informal sector, structural inequalities, enablers of employment and decent work, and the needs of youth, women, immigrants and vulnerable groups (informal notes).
