در سحرگاه ۲۵ اردیبهشت سال۱۳۸۷، شش تن از مدیران سابق جامعه بهایی ایران، به نام‌های فریبا کمال‌آبادی، جمال‌الدین» خانجانی، عفیف نعیمی، سعید رضایی، بهروز توکلی و وحید تیزفهم، طی مجموعه حمله‌هایی از سوی ماموران امنیتی که تقریباً همزمان هم صورت گرفت، بازداشت شدند. نفر هفتم، مهوش ثابت نیز پیشتر در نیمه‌ اسفند سال ۱۳۸۶ بازداشت شده بود. – نوشتۀ بهنام دارایی‌زاده

امروز ۲۴ اردیبهشت ۱۳۹۲ مصادف است با پنجمین سالگرد دستگیری ۷ نماینده جامعه بهائی در ایران. تحت عنوان بخشی از کمپین جهانی‌ `پنج سال بیدادگری`، خانم مهناز پراکند وکیل مدافع حقوق بشر که تا پیش از تهدید به اعدام به دلیل وکالت این ۷ نفر در ایران به سر می‌برد، اخیرا در حضور جامعه حقوق دانان انگلستان و ولز و . کمیته حقوق بشر کانون وکلا در مورد محاکمه‌ این ۷ نفر سخنرانی‌ کرد. این مقاله بر گرفته از سخنرانی‌ او در این سمینار می‌باشد. – نوشت مهناز پراکند

سران بهایی 5 سال بدون مرخصی در زندان

ابتدا به ۲۰ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شدند؛ دادگاه تجدید نظر اما با حذف اتهاماتی نظیر جاسوسی و همکاری با دولت اسرائیل، حکم را نقض و به ۱۰ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شان کرد و دادستان کل کشور حکم دادگاه تجدید نظر را برخلاف شریعت تشخیص داده و مجددا حکم به ۲۰ سال زندان داد؛ اکنون ۵ سال است که بدون مرخصی در زندان به سر می برند. – نوشتۀ فرشته قاضی
